Bio
Matthew Ober is a filmmaker based in Philadelphia, PA. While starting out primarily in narrative fiction, he has expanded into experimental and nonfiction filmmaking. His short films have been screened at festivals in the United States and Canada. He is a member of the Philadelphia video art collective Lino Kino, which has collaborated with the ICA, PAFA, and Cinespeak. He is a the co-founder of Neighbourhood Film Festival, based in Montreal. He has a BFA in film production from Concordia University in Montreal.
His favorite item of clothing was this Bee shirt (by Allen Yu, pictured left), until he destroyed it in the wash.
